I have been working in Special School ST. NICHOLAS as special education teacher since 1999 and as speech therapist since 2012. I have become interested in AAC since 2007, when I took part at „6th Eastern and Central European Regional Augmentative and Alternative Communication Conference (ECE-AACC) Prague, Czech Republic, November, 2007 and discovered the opportunities that AAC offers to nonverbal children. AAC was the subject of my paperwork for getting my highest degree as a teacher, in 2012. I am co-author of the book “ AAC Strategies for nonverbal children”, published in Romania, in 2015, by University of Bucharest Publishing House.
